Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of this website and the way we quote and perform auto glass work. Please read them before booking.

Who we are

BL Auto Glass LLC, a mobile auto glass business serving Central Florida. Florida license MV108599. Phone 407-388-4718.

What this website is

This site describes our services and lets you request a quote or an appointment. Using it does not create a contract. A booking exists once we have spoken with you and confirmed a time, a vehicle and a price.

Quotes and pricing

Prices depend on the exact year, make and model of your vehicle and on the features fitted to it, such as a forward-facing camera, rain sensor, heating elements or acoustic glass. Any figure given before we have those details is an estimate, not a firm price.

If we find on arrival that the vehicle needs different glass or additional work than described, we will tell you the revised price before starting. You are free to decline at that point at no cost.

Insurance claims

Under Florida Statute 627.7288, a policy that includes comprehensive coverage generally covers windshield replacement with no deductible. That statute applies to the windshield only. Side glass, rear glass and quarter glass are covered by comprehensive coverage, but your normal deductible applies to them.

We will help you file the claim and we work with all insurers. However, we do not decide coverage. Your insurer does. What is or is not covered depends on your individual policy, and you should confirm the details with them. Nothing on this site is insurance advice.

Under Florida Statute 627.7291, an insurer may not require you to use a particular repair shop. The choice of who replaces your glass is yours.

Florida law prohibits offering anything of value in exchange for making an insurance claim. We do not offer gift cards, cash back, rebates, or deductible assistance, and any claim that we do is not made by us.

Mobile service

We come to your home or workplace across Central Florida. Safe installation needs a reasonably level, accessible spot and weather that allows the adhesive to cure correctly. We may need to reschedule for heavy rain or unsuitable conditions. We will always tell you rather than fit glass in conditions that would compromise the work.

Safe drive-away time

After a windshield replacement, the adhesive needs time to reach the strength required to hold the glass in a collision. We will tell you the safe drive-away time for the specific adhesive used, and it is typically around an hour, though it varies with product and weather. Driving before that time is unsafe and is at your own risk. The bond continues curing for roughly 24 hours afterwards, so please avoid car washes and slamming doors during that period.

ADAS camera calibration

Many newer vehicles have a camera mounted at the windshield that operates safety features such as automatic emergency braking and lane keeping. When the glass is replaced, that camera generally must be recalibrated. Where your vehicle requires it and we perform it, we will tell you. If you decline recalibration, those safety systems may not function correctly, and that is your responsibility rather than ours.

Warranty

We warrant our workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle. That covers faults in how the glass was fitted, such as leaks, wind noise or a defect in the installation.

It does not cover new damage from road debris, vandalism, accidents, or glass broken after we leave. It does not cover problems caused by other work performed on the vehicle afterwards. Warranty work requires that we are the ones who performed the original installation.

Appointments

Please let us know as early as you reasonably can if you need to cancel or reschedule, especially for special-order glass. We hold time and stock for your booking.

Accuracy of this site

We work to keep the information here correct, including anything we say about Florida law. Laws and insurance practices change. Nothing here is legal or insurance advice, and you should not treat it as a substitute for speaking to your insurer or an attorney.

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent Florida law allows, our liability for any claim connected to work we perform is limited to the cost of that work, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost income or the cost of alternative transport. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Where we link to another website, such as a Florida statute or an insurer, we do not control it and are not responsible for its content.
