Privacy Policy
This policy explains what BL Auto Glass collects when you use this website, why, and who it goes to. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
Who we are
BL Auto Glass LLC is a mobile auto glass business serving Central Florida, including Orange, Osceola, Polk, Lake and Seminole counties. Florida license MV108599. You can reach us at 407-388-4718. We operate the websites blautoglass.com, blautoglass.org and blautoglass.info. This policy covers all three.
What we collect when you contact us
If you submit a quote or booking form, we collect what you type into it: your name, phone number, email address, vehicle year, make and model, ZIP code, the service you need, whether you plan to use insurance, and anything you write in the message box.
That information is emailed to the business owners so we can respond, and a copy is written to a private log file on our web server so a lead is never lost if an email fails to deliver. We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it.
What is collected automatically
Like most websites, ours records ordinary technical information through third-party analytics: the pages you visit, roughly how long you stay, the approximate region you are browsing from, the type of device and browser you use, and which website or advertisement sent you to us.
We use this to understand which pages are useful and which advertising actually produces customers. We do not use it to build a profile of you personally, and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors from it.
The specific services we use
- Google Analytics 4 for website traffic measurement. It sets cookies
(commonly named
_ga) to tell repeat visits from new ones. - Google Ads conversion tracking, so we can tell which advertisements lead to a call or a form submission. This is how we avoid wasting money on advertising that does not work.
- Google Enhanced Conversions. When you submit a form, your email address and phone number may be converted into a scrambled, irreversible code (a hash) and sent to Google so it can match your enquiry to the advertisement you clicked. Google receives the scrambled version, not your plain email address or phone number.
- Meta (Facebook) advertising tools. We may use a Meta pixel to measure advertising performance and to show our ads to people who have visited this site. If enabled, Meta receives information about your visit.
- Google Fonts, which loads typefaces from Google's servers. This means Google can see your IP address when a page loads.
These are all third parties with their own privacy policies, which govern what they do with the data they receive.
Cookies and similar technology
This site uses cookies set by Google for the purposes above. We also store a small flag in your browser to remember that you have already submitted our form, so we stop showing you the quote popup. That flag stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though our measurement will be less accurate. You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google's browser add-on, and you can manage advertising personalisation in your Google and Meta account settings.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:
- Your insurance company, when you ask us to file or assist with a glass claim on your behalf. We cannot process a claim without doing this.
- Google and Meta, as described above, for advertising measurement.
- Our web host (IONOS), which stores the site and the lead log as a necessary part of hosting it.
- When the law requires it, such as a valid legal request.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails and the server lead log are kept as normal business records so we can honour warranty claims and answer questions about past work. The lead log is rotated periodically. Analytics data is retained according to Google's own retention settings.
Text messages and calls
If you give us your phone number, you agree that we may contact you about your enquiry by phone or text. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and we will honour that immediately and permanently. Asking us to stop texting does not prevent us from completing work you have already booked.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by calling 407-388-4718. We may need to keep certain records where a warranty or an insurance claim is involved.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law. Tell us what you are asking for and we will do our best to help.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging vehicle glass work. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security, stated honestly
The site is served over HTTPS, the contact form is protected against automated abuse, and the lead log is not publicly reachable. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise. Please do not send us payment card numbers, your Social Security number, or a driver's license number through the website form. We never need them to give you a quote.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
