Plenty of windshield damage can be fixed with a quick resin repair, and that's always the goal when it's possible. But repair isn't the right call for everything. Once damage crosses certain lines, patching it can leave you with weakened glass, distorted vision, or a crack that comes right back. 1. A Crack in the Driver's Line of Sight

This is the big one. Even if a crack is small enough to technically repair, damage sitting in your direct line of sight is a problem.
